Brian J. Burchfield
Brian is an owner and founder of Burchfield
Insurance Group. He is a 1990 graduate of the University of North Carolina
at Chapel Hill. He has
fifteen years of employee benefits experience that includes sales and account
management responsibility with both a national and regional managed care
company. This background also provides a strong understanding of underwriting,
pricing development and the marketing of managed care products. He has
a broad perspective on group benefits issues and is extremely capable in
identifying innovative solutions to clients' needs and concerns. Current
responsibilities include both client service and business development.
Brian is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters, the Leading Producers Round Table President's Council. He is also active in both civic organizations and his local church. He lives in Concord with his wife Melanee and their four children; Connor, Mallory, Abbey, and Caroline.
Bruce W. Burchfield
Bruce is also an owner of Burchfield Insurance Group. He is a 1987 graduate
of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with a BA in Economics.
He also holds a Masters Certificate in Cultural Anthropology from Fuller
Theological Seminary's School of World Missions.
Bruce and his family spent over eight years involved with Youth With A Mission, an interdenominational missions organization that emphasizes community development. Bruce joined Burchfield Insurance Group in 1997 and is responsible for business development and client service.
Bruce is also a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and a member of the Leading Producers Round Table President's Council. He lives in Concord with his wife Lisa and their four children, Joshua, Brandon, Jessica, and Jennings.
Annie Anderson
Annie joined Burchfield Insurance Group in 2002. Her experience in the insurance
industry includes over three years as a large group underwriter for Blue
Cross and Blue Shield. Her work encompassed all functions of Healthcare
Underwriting including: risk management analysis, rate determination, financing
options, and customer consultation. Annie was one of sixteen employees
chosen, out of more than 700, to develop the company's 1996 corporate goals.
Prior to moving to North Carolina in 2002, Annie worked as a business development
consultant with private healthcare physician groups. Her background in
the healthcare insurance industry and in business development has enhanced
her ability to serve our clients. Annie’s responsibilities include
both sales and client services.
Annie is a member of the Rotary Club of Lake Norman-Huntersville, the Lake Norman Chamber of Commerce and is an active volunteer for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. She lives in Davidson with her husband, Jim and her son, Logan.
Ted Humberger
Ted joined Burchfield Insurance Group in 2003 as a sales executive. As a
Concord native, Ted graduated from Concord High School in 1989. He received
a BA in sports management with a concentration in Business Administration
from Lenoir-Rhyne College in Hickory, NC in 1993. Prior to joining Burchfield
Insurance Group, Ted spent ten years as a PGA Class A Golf Professional.
Ted’s
main responsibilities are new group and individual sales as well as account
management.
Ted resides in Concord with his wife, Alison and their three children, Julia, Trace and Mary Tess. He and his family attend church at The Refuge in Concord.
Ariel T. Kirk
Ariel joined Burchfield Insurance Group as an account
manager in 2006. Her previous experience in the insurance industry includes
working for Genworth Financial for 2 years as a Sales Support Specialist. She
supported 2 sales representatives in a high volume sales office, handled customer
service needs, and helped with the sales and implementation of all lines of
ancillary products.
Ariel is a lifetime resident of Kannapolis, and graduated high school from Northwest Cabarrus in 2000. From there, she attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She graduated in 2004, at the top of her class with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a Finance concentration.
Ariel and her husband, Kevin, currently live in Kannapolis, NC. She also teaches aerobics classes several times a week. Ariel and her family attend church at Kimball Lutheran in Kannapolis.
