Annie joined Burchfield Insurance Group in 2002. Her experience in the insurance industry includes over three years as a large group underwriter for Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Her work encompassed all functions of Healthcare Underwriting including: risk management analysis, rate determination, financing options, and customer consultation. Annie was one of sixteen employees chosen, out of more than 700, to develop the company's 1996 corporate goals. Prior to moving to North Carolina in 2002, Annie worked as a business development consultant with private healthcare physician groups. Her background in the healthcare insurance industry and in business development has enhanced her ability to serve our clients. Annie’s responsibilities include new group and individual sales, as well as account management. Annie is a member of the Rotary Club of Lake Norman-Huntersville, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and is an active volunteer for Caterpillar Ministries. She lives in Davidson with her husband, Jim and her son, Logan.
